Johnson School tourney begins on a high

Nacharam: Hosts Johnson Grammar School (CBSE) Nacharam started their campaign in the third Inter-School Basketball Tournament conducted for SRN Mudiraj Trophy defeating St. Patrick's High School 53-34 in the inaugural match here. The first half witnessed both teams match each other as the scores were tied at 21 before Akash using his height and reach scored a couple of quick under baskets as the winner seized the initiative and never looked back. Akash and Vijay Krishna scored 15 points apiece for the winner while Rudolph and Joshua scored 10 points each for St Patricks. Earlier the tournament was inaugurated by Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, MLC in the presence of Director, Johnson grammar School Suresh Kumar.
