Taekwondo kids steal the show

Gachibowli: The 34th Sub-junior and 37th junior Inter-districts Telangana State championships, under the auspices of Telangana Taekwondo Association, was off to a rollicking start at the G<C Balayogi Indoor Stadium. Stealing the limelight were kids, who demonstrated impressive techniques, much to the delight of the gathering and the masters, after it was inaugurated by Housing Minister Indrakaran Reddy.

According to D Satish Goud, President of the Association, it was very encouraging to note that as many as 500 boys and girls were participating in the championship. Association officials A Praveen Kumar, G Bojjanna and A Kishore Kumar said that this indicated that there was ample taekwondo talent in the State.
