Hitec City: In view of the 10th edition of Infocus National Film Festival being hosted at Loyola Academy on December 7 and 8, a pre-event was organised at the Phoenix Arena here recently. Graced by "PSV Garuda Vega" director Praveen Sattaru and editor Dharmendra Kakarala, the event began with an electrifying band performance on the film's theme music.

As a part of the pre-event, aspiring filmmakers were exposed to behind-the-scenes videos of PSV Garuda Vega and a workshop on the aesthetics of filmmaking was explained by the chief guests. Over 100 aspiring filmmakers attended the event and posed their questions to the director and editor.

"We view Infocus as a celebration of films and providing such platform for young artists and technicians will help them grasp the nuances of the movie industry," said Fr B J Shailendra Phani Kumar, SJ, HOD (Department of Mass Communication) at Loyola Academy Degree & PG College.
