Hitec City: In an effort to share insights with college students about career, city-based companies, HYSEA and TalentSprint collaborated to launch ‘What Industry Wants’ (#WIW) here on Friday.

The initiative is series of monthly interactions where industry experts will share career insights and shed light on impact of disruptive technologies (Automation, AI/ML, Big Data, BlockChain, IoT, Cybersecurity) on careers.

Ranga Pothula, President of HYSEA, said, “As the voice of industry, it is very important to take proactive steps to address the academic and student community, and sensitise them on rapidly evolving industry trends. Using this platform, industry leaders, college management, and aspiring professionals can interact with each other and prepare for the future.”

Dr Santanu Paul, MD & CEO of TalentSprint, added, “What Industry Wants, launched in July 2017, has been receiving enormous support from college management and students. The platform has attracted top industry speakers who are very keen to contribute for the benefit of the college and student community.”

As part of the initiative a series of speakers will contribute on the platform over the next year that includes a leader from TCS who will speak on December 16.
