Roads, drainages in first division to be repaired
The first division meeting of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation which was held here on Friday discussed a whole lot of problems in the division, including the long-overdue problems, and officials of the civic body and people’s representatives assured the meeting to strive to resolve the issues like roads, drainages, manholes and traffic problem.

The meeting was chaired by AS Rao Division Corporator Pavani Manipal Reddy. Deputy Commissioner Pankaja was the chief guest. Pavani said that the meeting was necessitated following the municipal council meeting held on Thursday which filled the lone vacant post in the division committee and several area committee member posts.
She asked the civic officials to strive to find a solution to the problems raised at the meeting.
Division committee members Ramadevi, Sobha Reddy, Ramatulasi Reddy, Kandadi Narsimha Reddy, Somayya Chary, Abdul Raheem, Syamala Sankar and Surender took part in the meeting along with the area committee members Tirupati, Sada Lakshmi and Singamraju.
Executive Engineer Koteswara Rao, Madan Raj, Dana Goud, waterworks officials Uma Maheswar and Sarita, electrical AE Venkat Reddy, traffic inspector Prabhakar Reddy took part in the meeting.
