Borewell construction begins

AS Rao Nagar: Corporator of AS Rao Nagar Pavani Reddy initiated the digging of borewells at Subashchander Nagar here on Sunday. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 5.5 lakhs and it is designed to meet the water needs of more than 50,000 people.

Commenting about the project, Pavani Reddy said, “We are trying to identify other problems of the area. Since, water was the major problem for most people we started with that first.” Other ward members who attended the programme were local party members, Santosh Reddy, Manipal Reddy and ward members Rama Devi and Rama Tulasi and others.
