Manikonda: The under-17 chess tournament conducted by Ranga Reddy District Chess Association announced the winners at Ideal Chess Academy here recently.
Sai Mahathi defeated Tejaswi and won the girl’s category at the tournament whereas Kushal KM defeated Shrayas S in the boy’s category by winning the tournament. The winners will represent Ranga Reddy district at the Telangana State School Championship which will be held in January 2018.
