Sports fun for children

Goshamahal: The annual sports celebration of Azaan International School was held at the Goshamahal Police Stadium here recently. Students participated in activities that included self-defence, karate, cricket, basketball, pyramid formations, running race, etc in the two-day event.

While the girl demonstrated karate and self-defence skills, the boys displayed sporting talents during the event. Chairman of the institute Dr Yousuf Azam presented a memento to Hyderabad Collector Yogita Rana during the celebrations. Speaking at the event, the Collector called upon significance of health and sports for children. Later, prizes and medals were given away to winners in the sporting events.
