Students sensitised about breast cancer

Hyderabad: Students and staff at Deccan College of Pharmacy learned about lung and breast cancer at the premises here recently.

The lecture, which was held in association with NIMS hospital, had Assistant Professor Stalin Chowdary Bala address the gathering on the topic. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Bala highlighted the treatment modalities on both diseases and informed about the symptoms or lung and breast cancer.

Upto 200 students from Pharma D and B Pharmacy streams attended the session in which Dr S A Azeez, Principal and professor Dr Mehruq Fatima were also present.
