Case against ZPTC member for threatening ex-TRS leader
Local ZPTC member Ravi Goud on Monday night threatened TRS-suspended leader and Young Leaders’ Foundation State president Rohit Reddy of dire consequences, according to a complaint lodged by the latter with the police here.
Tandur: Local ZPTC member Ravi Goud on Monday night threatened TRS-suspended leader and Young Leaders’ Foundation State president Rohit Reddy of dire consequences, according to a complaint lodged by the latter with the police here.
Rohit Reddy who has been suspended from the TRS has been increasing his clout by taking up one programme or the other. In the process, he conducted puja to the village Goddess in Ravi Goud’s village.
At the invitation of the Rohit Reddy, some youth of the village took part in the celebrations. Incensed at this, Ravi Goud entered into an argument with Rohit Reddy leading to a minor altercation leading to prevalence of tension.
Following a complaint from Rohit Reddy, a case has been registered against Ravi Goud, DSP Ramachandrudu said.
Meanwhile, Ravi Goud also lodged a complaint with the police charging that Rohit Reddy and his followers attacked him. CI Pratap Lingam said that a criminal case was also registered against Rohit Reddy.
