Sri Ganesh Temple to have exclusive parking lot!

Secunderabad: The Sri Ganesh Temple authorities have sent a proposal to South Central Railway (SCR) to allot a part of the parking space at the lot close to the temple.P L Nagesh, chairman of the temple committee said, “We requested the Railway authorities to part with a portion of the parking lot, which can accommodate 30 cars.

The devotees would bear the amount.” He further added, “Just two years ago, there was a gate at the parking lot, but it was closed. It can be re-opened and space be provided.”
On an average about 1,000 people visit the temple and on important festivals, thousands visit it. Anyone in the pretext of visiting the temple may park their vehicle there.

The authorities said that a person would be posted at the gate to issue stickers for entry into the parking lot.

With the Rathfile bus stop bursting at the seams and thousands of people moving on the Sri Ganesh Temple -Alpha Hotel stretch, the authorities are also planning to give a proposal for a multi-level parking space at the Rathfile bus stop.

Nagesh said, “Several prominent people including MLA Sayanna has shown interest in the project and a high-level committee would be formed to prepare a proposal.”
