In a welcome incident, a ‘Swachh Survekshan’ team from Uppal GHMC division found that the Vasista Vidyaniketan School here had fulfilled its ‘Swachh’ norms for students. The team was visiting the school on Thursday to conduct inspection. According to norms of the survey, every 50 students should have toilets.

The team was visiting the school on Thursday to conduct inspection. According to norms of the survey, every 50 students should have toilets.
However, it was found that the school put its children’s best interest and that it provided proper toilet facilities for every 40 students. The inspection team expressed their happiness and congratulated the principal on the achievement. They interacted with the students and educated them on how to maintain hygiene in their campus. The team was led by the Deputy Commissioner of Uppal Yadagiri Rao.
