Devotees offer prayers on Vaikunta Ekadasi at Anandbagh
On occassion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, special prayers were offered at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple at Anandbagh, here on Friday. Since, the auspicious day is believed to wash away sins of devotees and had come twice this year, over 8000 people are expected turn up at the temple premises until the wee hours of Saturday.Â

In order to maintain the law and order condition at the shrine, police personnel of Kushaiguda and Chiryala were deployed in the vicinity. MLC NaraparajuRamchander Rao and GHMC Deputy Commissioner K. Venugopal visited the temple and took blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. Wishing everyone on the occasion, Ramachander Rao said, "I pray that all the people of our state and country be abundantly blessed with peace, prosperity and happiness."
