NCC Training Camp is organised for the NCC cadets of Air Wing at Air Force Academy (AFA), up-to December 31.  The camp that started on December 19 witnessed a total of 50 NCC cadets including 12 Senior Wing Girls and 38 Senior Division cadets attending the camp. During the camp, cadets are being exposed to intensive training activities which include both outdoor and classroom lectures. 

Dundigal: NCC Training Camp is organised for the NCC cadets of Air Wing at Air Force Academy (AFA), up-to December 31. The camp that started on December 19 witnessed a total of 50 NCC cadets including 12 Senior Wing Girls and 38 Senior Division cadets attending the camp. During the camp, cadets are being exposed to intensive training activities which include both outdoor and classroom lectures.

While the cadets are being exposed to Field-craft, PT, Parade, and Yoga during the outdoor training, classroom lectures are also conducted on various topics like the history of Indian Air Force (IAF), precautionary measures of flying training, the role of Air Traffic Control, Meteorology and Navigation in Aviation.

In addition, general topics such as First -aid procedure, Fire-fighting and the selection process in the IAF are also being covered.

The attachment camp of the NCC, with cadets drawn from all the states, was planned with a view to provide an insight into the functioning of the Indian Air Force and to motivate them to join the service. The NCC is a feeder organisation for the Armed Forces.
