About encouraging weavers

Srinagar Colony: Tollywood Actress Priyansha Dubey inaugurated the nine-day “National Silk Expo-2018” here. The expo is organised by Gramina Hastkala Vikas Samiti at Sri Satya Sai Nigamagamam.

Speaking on the occasion Priyansha said, “Such platforms are required to reach out to women looking for well-designed handmade cotton, silk wear and exclusive home textiles that showcase the blend of different style and concepts of silk handloom creations coming together under one roof.”

Organiser Jayesh added, “The main objective of this handloom exhibition is to promote and encourage weavers. Through these exhibitions, we have been able to create a platform for the weavers of the handloom industry.”
