Kushaiguda: T-MASS convenor Kanche Ilaiah has expressed concern over the anti-people rule of the State Government and exhorted mass organisations to fight against the misrule of the government. He advocated celebrating New Year on January 1 as on this day people all over the world welcome the New Year.

Addressing a meeting of the T-MASS at the Jyoti Function Hall here on Sunday, he called for observing January 3, the birth anniversary of Jyotiba Phule, as teachers’ day by mounting pressure on the Government. He advocated enlightening the people explaining the life history of Jyotiba Phule.

He also called upon the people to fight with the state government for implementation of the KG-to-PG free education policy.

While the state government has been promoting Telugu medium education, the ministers in the state Cabinet are sending their wards to the English medium schools, he observed.
DSS leader Vijayakumar, T-MASS Medchal district convener Ch Yadaiah and others took part in the programme.
