Bagging laurels in tennis

Hyderabad: Raheen of Sarojini Cricket and Tennis Academy won the Telangana State Tennis Association Fourth Master Series tennis tournament conducted by DRC Sports Foundation at Advantage Tennis Academy, Vinayakanagar.

Raheen, in the Under-12 category, beat Rishika Rao 8-3 in the finals. Raheen, Class VIII student at Narayana Olympiad School, beat Laximi Sri 7-5 in the semi-finals and won over Yashaswi 8-4 in the quarterfinals.

G Kiran Reddy, Senior Public Relations Manager and Principal, Transport Academy and ZSTC, who is also the Secretary of Sarojini Academy, appreciated Raheen's performance and advised her to work harder on her backhand and get more laurels in future. Sandeep and Devender Singh are the coaches of Raheen.
