Short film festival for kids tomorrow
The second edition of ‘Student Shots’, a short film festival, will be held at St Mary’s College here on Friday. It’s an initiative by the Department of Social Sciences and Mass Communication.” “This year, there is a new segment Short Cuts exclusively for students below the age group of 15 years (up to class X),” said the statement. For the second edition, the festival has received about 35 films from various schools and colleges.
Renowned actor and four-time Nandi Award-winner, Surya Kumar Bhagvandas along with writer-director Aneesh Daniel will attend the event. Consulting Casting Director Pushpa Bhaskar and filmmaker Mohit Garg are the members of the jury. Mohit will also be conducting a workshop on filmmaking after the screening.
