Transport Minister performs bhoomi pooja

Transport Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy performed bhoomi pooja for Rs 40 lakh underground drainage works at Dr A S Rao Nagar on Tuesday. Later, he inaugurated a community hall built at a cost of Rs 8 lakh and a Model Market built at a cost of Rs 50 lakh at Moulali Housing Board Colony.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahender Reddy lauded Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for implementing various welfare schemes. Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, MLA NVSS Prabhakar, Most Backward Classes (MBC) Chairman Taduri Srinivas, Corporators Pavani Manipal Reddy and Anjaiah, Municipal Officials and TRS party activists were present.
