Members of National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD) celebrated 209th birth anniversary of Louis Braille on a grand note at N V Bhaskar Rao Bhavan in Kamala Nagar on Thursday.

Kapra: Members of National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD) celebrated 209th birth anniversary of Louis Braille on a grand note at N V Bhaskar Rao Bhavan in Kamala Nagar on Thursday.

Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) President P Satyam was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Braille is an inspiration for the visually challenged. His script is very useful for them. The trade union leader declared that he is always ready to help the specially challenged whichever way he can.

NPRD President Ranga Reddy, Secretary K Venkat, leader K Naga Lakshmi, Medchal NPRD Guide P Venkat, Vice President Ramesh and others, including Balaiah, Chandra Mohan, Lakshmipati, Meghamala, Saheen Begum and Amaravathi, took part in the celebrations.
