Nasr School, Khairatabad staged an adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s, “Wizard of Oz”, recently. The play revolves around Dorothy a young farm girl and her journey to the imaginary and enchanting land of Oz. 

Khairatabad: Nasr School, Khairatabad staged an adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s, “Wizard of Oz”, recently. The play revolves around Dorothy a young farm girl and her journey to the imaginary and enchanting land of Oz.

Her meeting an ‘Entertaining Scarecrow’ a ‘Rusty Tinman’ and a ‘Cowardly Lion’, who join her in meeting the Wizard of Oz, forms the rest of the story.

The play concludes with the Wizard sharing his wisdom with the youngsters that form valuable lessons applicable in everyday life. The play was conceptualised and directed by Mr. Mir. Mohiuddin Mohammed and supported by Asha Srinivas & Vidya Katari. The cast included 209 members.
