LB Nagar: A Nagamallu, Inspector of Rachakonda Traffic Police Unit rescued a man who met with an accident at about 2:30pm at LB Nagar. This is the second time (The first being on 1st January 2018, when they rescued a man who met with a deadly accident in the wee hours of Monday) in the New Year season when the Rachakonda traffic police team has proved that they truly stand by their motto “Rachakonda police with you, for you.”
A Nagamallu, Traffic inspector LB Nagar told The Hans India, “Towards the afternoon, a middle aged man who was on his bike hit the divider on the road. The man fell down and tumbled for about two to three kilometers and fell down unconscious.”
He further added, “I picked him up and immediately gave him first aid with cotton and white bandage which we always have it in our vehicle. After gaining consciousness, he said his name was Sudhakar but was unable to talk further.”
When asked about the nature of injury A Nagamallu said, “He had developed deep injury into the right side of his forehead, my first priority was to stop the blood flow which I did by giving him first aid. I took contact from his phone and called up his friends out of which three of them turned up and also called up his wife, who said that she would be there on the spot within a short span of time.”
“After the friends came in, I ensured that the person is shifted to the hospital. They took an auto and went to Evya Hospital, which is located on the LB Nagar to Chintalkunta route”, said A Nagamallu.
When asked what helps him to strike balance between his professional life and his humanitarian gesture which he never skips when on the field, A Nagamallu smiled and replied, “For me my consciousness and the path of the duty shown by my commissioner of Police Mahesh M Bhagwat matters the most and I am just following it.”
