The initiative that started 23 days back is gaining momentum as several good Samaritans are pitching in. The Kriya Sangh Society is supported by Sani Welfare Foundation and MB Khan Charitable Trust.

Nayeem of Kriya Sangh Society says, “Majority of them are elderly who do not have anyone to take care of them. Labourers too come to have food here.”
Food is served at 1 pm daily at the Gun Bazaar community hall and on days when there are functions, food is served in the government school playground nearby.
