Run for Girl Child
Second edition of “Run for Girl Child” was organised by Seva Bharathi in the city on Sunday. This run was conducted in order to promote awareness about the programme ‘Kishori Vikas’ for empowerment of girl child.
Gachibowli: Second edition of “Run for Girl Child” was organised by Seva Bharathi in the city on Sunday. This run was conducted in order to promote awareness about the programme ‘Kishori Vikas’ for empowerment of girl child.
The Marathon was flagged off by Union minister for Culture and Tourism, Mahesh Sharm Konda Vishweshwar Reddy-MP, Prisions, Lakshminarayana IG, Maharashtra and MLAs Kishan Reddy, Laxman. State Finance Minister Eetala Rajender graced his presence at the closing ceremony. He awarded the winners and appreciated the participants.
Corporates such as GGK Technologies Capgemini, Genpact, Thomson Reuters, Cotiviti, Avineon, ComVault, MedTronic, Hyderabad Industries Limited, Zolontech, TMR Group, Harsco, Value Momentum and many IT companies participated in the run. More than 400 beneficiaries of Kishori Vikas programme from Slums and low income areas of Greater Hyderabad joined the Run.
Apart from the above, Uber, Care hospitals, Gaudium School and Excellencia college, Vajra events provided partnership and support. Media partners were Ample Reach PR, starmaa, Hmtv, radio city & Bharat today and lycos.
