Secunderabad: Excise and Prohibition minister T Padma Rao Goud held inspections in several areas of Secunderabad after receiving complaints about the BSNL cables that are causing obstructions at the open nalas, here on Wednesday.
The minister held consultations with BSNL Assistant General Manager Srinivas and with the members of the engineering wing regarding the issue and also recommended the officials to shift certain telephone poles.Seethaphalmandi Corporator Samala Hema, Boudhnagar Corporator B Dhananjana Bai and Tarnaka Corporator ASaraswathi Hari along with GHMC officials participated in the event.
Disburses cheques
Seethaphalmandi: Minister Padma Rao Goud disbursed cheques worth 1,20,000 Rupees to two beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) at their residences, here on Wednesday. Many families in the division received monetary help from the government on grounds of health issues in their family members.
Seethaphalmandi Corporator Samala Hema along with several senior TRS party leaders participated in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that no family deserves to live in poverty especially due to ill-health. He assured that the State government would stand by them in all their sufferings and help them overcome it.
Road renovation works started
Boudhnagar: Minister T Padma Rao Goud laid foundation stone for road renovation works in the division, here on Wednesday. The repair activities worth 21 lakhs, of three major roads at Pullaya Bavi and Lalitha Nagar would commence at the earliest to end the woes of both the commuters and passersby.
Local Corporator B Dhananjana Bai, GHMC Deputy Commissioner K Ravi Kumar, ward members and several TRS senior leaders participated in the event. " By strengthening road connectivity within the State, we indirectly contribute to strengthening the economy of the state," said Padma Rao.
