Illegal constructions removed

Qutubullapur: The revenue department razed nearly 49,342 illegal constructions on government lands in Qutubullapur division recently. The officials revealed that the local land sharks have been looting innocent people by selling them the government-owned properties starting from 2 lakh rupees per 60 square yards.

A team under the supervision of MRO Bhupal, RI Sudhakar and VRO Balaraju demolished several properties on the government estate because of which many families were left homeless. Meanwhile, there were mixed reactions from the public who lost their houses in the process. While a few alleged that the officials had taken bribes from the land sharks, many urged the government to take stringent actions against such criminals.
