Cordon & search operation at Pardiwada
Under the supervision of DCP, South zone V Satyanarayana IPS, 250 policemen participated in the cordon and search operations which were held at Pardiwada of Hussainialam police station limits. Addressing the media, V Satyanarayana said that they had received different complaints regarding newsense and sale of liquor in Pardiwada area.Â
Pardiwada: Under the supervision of DCP, South zone V Satyanarayana IPS, 250 policemen participated in the cordon and search operations which were held at Pardiwada of Hussainialam police station limits. Addressing the media, V Satyanarayana said that they had received different complaints regarding newsense and sale of liquor in Pardiwada area.
Acting on the complaints, the South zone police conducted cordon and search operation and seized 45 cartons of different brands of liquor along with 200 empty bottles. Cases were registered on nine persons involved in illegal selling at Pardiwada area.
Also, cases will be registered on two wine shops one of Makar yadav and other of Bahadurpura who were supplying liquor to this belt shops and a report will be sent to excise department for violating the excise rules for necessary actions against these two wine shops. Six rowdy sheeters were taken into custody. 12 suspect vehicles were seized and 25 were suspects taken into custody.
Women appealed South zone police to take necessary action against illegal running of belt shops. Cordon and search operation started at 5 pm and completed by 7.30 pm on Monday. Additional DCP taskforce S Chaitanya Kumar, additional DCP South zone Ghousemoinuddin, ACP Charminar Anjaiah, ACP Falaknuma Syed Fayaz, ACP Mirchowk B Anand and inspectors along with police constables participated in the cordon and search operation.
