Republic Day uniquely celebrated in city
Mallapur Corporator P Devender Reddy celebrated 69th Republic Day in a unique way by visiting 32 colonies and hoisting 32 national flags with the residents, president and welfare association members of the colony.

Mallapur: Mallapur Corporator P Devender Reddy celebrated 69th Republic Day in a unique way by visiting 32 colonies and hoisting 32 national flags with the residents, president and welfare association members of the colony.
Speaking to The Hans India, P Devender Reddy said, “It is important that all the residents of the division know the importance of the day. Therefore, we planned this.”
After the hoisting of national flag in each colony, the national song was sang and sweets were distributed.
The corporator also visited Modern School and Sri Chaitanya School of the division and interacted with the children there and encouraged them to work hard and become good citizens of our country.
The corporator also said that from next year onwards, he along with his team would visit all the 40 colonies of his division and celebrate national festivals with them.
