Maratha Bhagini Mandal observes Jijabai Jayanti
Mangalhat Corporator Parmeshwari Singh called on women folks to become Jijabai and show path to the society. The way Jijabai has worked for the welfare of the society, modern day women need that passion and zeal to work. She was speaking at the Rajmata Jijabai Jayanti celebrations at Maratha Bhavan in Jalpally on Sunday. She hailed the city women stating that they were progressive and hardworking.

She also appreciated the work done by the Mahila Bhagini Mandal that organized the celebrations. She said that the country has such a powerful Prime Minister who has been encouraging Women empowerment. She advised that women must not only progress in social and economic fields but also ensure that their children must have moral values.
