Abids: The first all-party National Convention of Indian Nationalist Movement will be held on 30 January 2018 at Abids Function Hall from 3pm to 5pm.

Addressing the media at Media Plus Auditorium on Monday, representatives of the Indian Nationalist Movement including convener Mohammed Ayub, organising secretary Abdul Ali Zubair, Telangana State President Md Abdul Majeed, Chairman of Reception Committee for National Conference Krishna Prasad and other leaders will address the public on pressing issues of the country.

Ayub said that a Bus Yatra comprising a fleet of 25 buses and 1,000 people will travel from Hyderabad to Srinagar to create awareness about the various major issues in India, particularly problems with the health sector, pollution, poverty, judiciary, and corporate political funding.

Addressing the media, they demanded that 50 lakh be given by the Government of India to lynched victim families as compensation, regardless of their religion or ethnicity, and also called for strict implementation of the Section 125 of the Representation of People Act which says “promoting enmity between classes in connection with an election under this acts promotes or attempts to promote on grounds of religion, race, case, community or language, feelings of enmity or hatred between different classes of citizens of India shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 years with fine or both.”

The party also pointed out issues of corruption due to non-implementation of Lokpal and Lok Ayukta Bill 2013, which have the longest history in the country, but did not come into force. The bills, they asserted, should be introduced by duly seeking public opinion through leading media outlets, to ensure transparent governance and accountable service to the people.
