Pension mela organised in Nammalagundu

To ensure that every senior citizen is entitled to lead a comfortable life after their retirement, a grand pension mela was organised at the MLA office in Nammalagundu, here on Monday. Seethaphalmandi Corporator Samala Hema along with Musheerabad Village Revenue Officers helped several aged citizens of the constituency in availing for their pensions.Â

Seethaphalmandi Corporator Samala Hema along with Musheerabad Village Revenue Officers helped several aged citizens of the constituency in availing for their pensions.
Speaking on the occasion, Hema said, " The elderly are the foundation of our society and they rightfully deserve to get a fair share of rights on their living expenses. We thought why they should wait in queues at the pension office always. Hence, we have organised the programme close to their residence."
