To commemorate 70 years of Indo-US relations, the US Consulate General Hyderabad in collaboration with Hyderabad Metro Rail opened an art exhibition featuring work by local students from different schools in Hyderabad on the topic- US-India relationship here on Wednesday.

Ameerpet: To commemorate 70 years of Indo-US relations, the US Consulate General Hyderabad in collaboration with Hyderabad Metro Rail opened an art exhibition featuring work by local students from different schools in Hyderabad on the topic- US-India relationship here on Wednesday.

Consul General Katherine Hadda and N V S Reddy, Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail inaugurated the art exhibition at Ameerpet metro station, where they were joined by students who had contributed artwork.

“The artwork that these children have contributed to this exhibit is refreshing, optimistic, and beautiful,” commented Consul General Hadda, “It was so wonderful to see, through the art, the excitement that the next generation have for the US-India relationship and I’m glad that thousands of people who commute through this station over the coming weeks will also see this vision for the future of our relations.”

The artwork illustrates the students’ perceptions of the relationship between the US and India. Fifty selected artwork from students of four different schools in Hyderabad were displayed at the exhibition.

The four schools that participated in this art exhibition include David Memorial High School, Tarnaka, International School of Hyderabad, Patancheru, Sri Saraswathi High School, Namalgundu, and St. John’s High School, Warasiguda.

This exhibit will be on display at Ameerpet Metro Station for two until February 14, 2018.
