Cultural evening by trainee junior assistants
The trainee Junior Assistants, attending the foundation course, being conducted by Centre for Public Administration of Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana, presented a feature-rich cultural evening. The energetic folk dances, glorious singing, soulful music, and above all, the multifaceted talent of the trainees left every one present awestruck. Jubilee Hills: The trainee Junior Assistants, attending the foundation course, being conducted by Centre for Public Administration of Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana, presented a feature-rich cultural evening. The energetic folk dances, glorious singing, soulful music, and above all, the multifaceted talent of the trainees left every one present awestruck. A musical band added to the mood of the audience and provided them a great foot tapping time. Senior officers, faculty, staff, and trainees attended the program in large numbers.
B P Acharya, IAS, Spl. Chief Secretary and DG, Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana emphasised the important role of Junior Assistants and said that the ultimate success of the entire administrative hierarchy depends on the quality of their work.
He advised them to contribute their optimum best to their jobs and extend help in achieving the dream of bangaru Telangana. “Dream big, write different competitive examinations, and touch the commanding heights of your careers at a fast pace”, he advised the Junior Assistants.
The program commenced with Sarasvathi Vandana by Swetha Reddy.
Sanjay Pawar and Abrar Ahmed kick-started the scintillating evening with the most haunting melody, “Sandese Aate Hain, Hamen Tadpate Hain” and received a huge round of applause. Two more songs, “Ye Janma Bhoomi Bharat” and “Veerulaari Vandanam” rendered by Sanjay Pawar, P Sunil, and. Sai Kiran not only uplifted the mood of the audience but also ignited the air with the magic of patriotism and pride.
P Sunil sang a hit song; “Navamasalu Mosina Talli” and paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of a mother. This was followed by a wave of such soulful numbers as “Ek Pyar Ka Naghma Hai” by Jameel, “Dil ka Aalam Kya Bataun Tujhe” by Sanja Pawar. which proved to be a grand treat for the music enthusiasts.
The Lambadi dance and the dazzling display of colourful costumes and tribal jewellery captured the hearts of one and all. Similarly, Bonalu, Bathukamma, and Kolatam dance forms garnered huge admiration from the audience.
Sanjay Pawar and P Sunil bagged the first and second prizes, respectively in the singing segment. The 11-member team, which presented Bonalu dance, received the first prize in dancing. The lively anchoring by T Eshwar Naidu and T Amulya was an icing on the cake.
