The Bank of Baroda gave away cooking utensils, mike set, food grains which included rice, dal and cooking oil all worth Rs 30,000 to Vatsalya Sindhu Orphange and Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad hostel respectively as a part of their ‘Anubhuti Programme’ under community service plan.

Malkajgiri: The Bank of Baroda gave away cooking utensils, mike set, food grains which included rice, dal and cooking oil all worth Rs 30,000 to Vatsalya Sindhu Orphange and Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad hostel respectively as a part of their ‘Anubhuti Programme’ under community service plan.

The number of children at Vatsalya Sindhu Orphange were 55 and at Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad the number of students were 40. Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad is a free hostel being run by the state government for SC/ ST community.

V Nageshwar Rao, Branch Manager of Bank of Baroda Malkajgiri told The Hans India, “We do it every six months. And I strongly believe that these kind of programmes helps us to understand that we are human beings first and then we have our professional tag.”
“We would be having the same kind of programme again the month of July. We look forward to reach out more people this time” added V Nageshwar Rao.
