Secunderabad: Minister T Padma Rao Goud said on Thursday that the government would be in the forefront in extending health facilities to the poor. Speaking after handing cheques for Rs.2 lakh as financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Kanishka of Lalapet for getting treatment and also Rs.1 lakh to Lakshmikantham of Aryanagar, the minister stated that the government has come to the rescue of a record number of patients from the Secunderabad constituency through the CMRF.

‘Cheques are being handed over to the beneficiaries at their houses for their convenience’, Rao observed. Referring to the grave yards in Secunderbad, the minister stated that they were being developed as model burial grounds. He inspected the grave yards in Arynagar, along with officials. Rao complimented the committee members. Among those who accompanied Goud were Corporators Alakunta Saraswathi, Bhargavi, Samala Hema and Vijayakumari.
