Hyderabad: Agarwal Samaj Sahayata trust contributes a developed intensive care unit (ICU) at NIMS here recently. Agarwal Samaj Sahayata Trust which is renowned for its social initiatives helps and serves people with better health care facilities.

Speaking on the Occasion Managing Trustee of Agarwal Samaj Sahayata Trust Rajesh Agarwal said " Modern intensive care unit (ICU) with ventilators, monitors, wheelchairs, etc.; is set to be donated to the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). The total estimate cost of the construction and equipment is around Rs 60 lakhs, which was taken care by trust.

He further added this is our second mega health project. Last year we donated a dialysis unit to Gandhi hospital and we are happy to inform that 8267 patients have utilised the dialysis unit.

We are delighted by our achievements and this motivates us to take up more of these initiatives which benefits mankind. In Future we plan to help government cancer hospitals with mobile units.
