A friendly cricket match was organised between TRS leaders of the division and local journalists, here on Monday. The teams Corporators XI and Print Media XI played enthusiastically in which corporators emerged as winners.

Division corporator Pannala Devender Reddy organised the match on the occasion of completing two years term.
MBC Corporation Chairman Taduri Srivias, Uppal in-charge Bethi Subhash Reddy attended as chief guests of the event and gave away prizes to the winners. Speaking on the occasion, Taduri Srinivas said sports and games are must for everyone as they enhance both mental and physical health. He hailed the participants for exhibiting sportive spirit.
“Journalists always work in tension and pressure. This kind of activities refreshes them,” he said.
Corporators Golluri Anjaiah, Pavani Mahipal Reddy, Sravan Goud, Venkateswara Reddy were present on the occasion.
