Chanchalguda: A 42 trainee induction assistant prison officers (warders) delegation led by Rajeev, joint superintendent of Prisons, Kerala, visited the Central Prison at Chanchalguda here on Wednesday.
The officials from Kerala are in the city to get an understanding of the welfare activities for the prisoners such as PT & Parade, Vidyadaanam, Morality & Ethics classes by Ramakrishna Math and Unnathi counselling classes.
The team went around the barracks.Addressing the trainees, K Arjuna Rao, Superintendent of Prisons, narrated the welfare activities introduced by V K Singh, Director General of Prisons, Telangana State. P Saibaba, Deputy Superintendent of Jails, jailors V Srinivas Rao and A Venkatesham were also present.
