A group from the Red Cross Society travelling from Delhi to Hyderabad by  Telangana Express, had a horrifying experience as the food and beverages sold on the train was far too high. The passengers had to cough up Rs 20 for a one litre of water bottle and Rs 10 for a cup of coffee or tea.

The passengers had to cough up Rs 20 for a one litre of water bottle and Rs 10 for a cup of coffee or tea.

On questioning the pantry staff, the pantry supervisor finally agreed and apologised saying that they would be selling the food items for the prices mentioned in the menu provide by Railway department. Red Cross District Chairman Mamidi Bheem Reddy along with other officials Narayana Rao, Deekshithulu, Madhu Babu, Manasa and Page school students Parvathi participated in the inspection.
