Teams from BPRD, Kerala visit Charlapalli Jail

A 28-member team of officials from the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD), Delhi, and eight States visited the Central prison here on Thursday as part of the ongoing training programme. Jail Superintendent M R Bhaskar explained the police reforms being implemented to the team members. The reforms include internal security, food schedule, daily activities for the inmates.

Jail Superintendent M R Bhaskar explained the police reforms being implemented to the team members. The reforms include internal security, food schedule, daily activities for the inmates.

He replied to questions posed by the visitors. A team from Kerala Prisons department also visited the jail to get briefed about the recently introduced Vidyadhan Yojana, Unnathi Swachh and the training classes being conducted by the Ramakrishna Math.

The jail officials explained to the team members the food and health facilities being offered to the prisoners. Among those present were deputy SP of the prison Chintala Dasaradham, Jailors Devla, Ratnam, Hanuman Prasad, Devi Singh, Mogilesh, Sanjiva Reddy.
