Hyderabad: Ascendas-Singbridge, Asia’s leading sustainable urban and business space solutions provider celebrated the grand finale of its annual pan-India inter-corporate challenge in Hyderabad at the V IT Park, managed by Ascendas-Singbridge.

The theme for this year’s annual corporate event was Cookout Challenge, a fun cooking event across 8 Ascendas-Singbridge IT Parks in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune. The Corporate Cookout Challenge provided a platform for the IT professionals to break away from their regular work day and cook up delicacies at their place of work.

Over 100 teams of cooking enthusiasts accepted the challenge to conjure up delightful dishes all day long in their respective cities to earn a spot at the Cookout Challenge grand finale held at The V IT Park, Hyderabad. The preliminary round winners represented their respective organisations, IT Parks and cities at the national finale in presence of Chef Kapil Dubey, the Executive Chef at The Den Hotel and former Chef at Sheraton Hyderabad.

Chef Kapil personally curated the format of this competition and the contesting teams were thrilled to have him around during the final moments of this contest. Exquisite dishes from various cuisines from around the world were put together by the teams. Famous culinarian, Amar Thapa from Ohri’s, a reputed restaurant chain in Hyderabad, was also invited to co-judge alongside Kapil Dubey.

The dishes were judged based on taste, presentation, technique and creativity. After much deliberation, the team from Pune was adjudged the national winner of closely contested Cookout Challenge 2018.

The national winners, KPIT Technologies Ltd was awarded an all-expense paid two nights/ three days couple holiday package to Bangkok, Thailand. The winning dish will also feature in Hotel Den’s all day café menu as a limited edition.

Subrata K C Sharma, City Head- Hyderabad Operations, Ascendas-Singbridge said,“We are glad that for so many years we have been able to provide a platform for our parkites to showcase their exceptional talents in various streams. This unique event is one such example that reiterates our commitment to create an environment of vibrant community balancing work and play, a key tenet of all Ascendas-Singbridge parks.”
