R1K team organised ‘Green Day Fest’
“R1K Green Day” organised an awareness event here recently. The mission of R1K go green team is to make their community a fully green zero waste society. The event was graced by Corporator Jagadeeshwar Goud and Aruna Sekar – Green Ambassador of Telangana and Pradeep Gadicherla a techie, and a pioneer running sustainable initiatives.
Nallagandla: “R1K Green Day” organised an awareness event here recently. The mission of R1K go green team is to make their community a fully green zero waste society. The event was graced by Corporator Jagadeeshwar Goud and Aruna Sekar – Green Ambassador of Telangana and Pradeep Gadicherla a techie, and a pioneer running sustainable initiatives.
The event started with the kids of R1K playing a fun game illustrating how to segregate waste followed by peppy dance by the young girls on recycling song. The young minds of R1K then spoke about waste management. Aruna gave a demonstration on home composting as an ideal technique for people who live in apartment complexes.
Jagadeeswar Gaud spoke about GHMC mission on Swachh Hyderabad. He shared the ideas how citizens can connect with GHMC and take these initiatives at next level. He also shared the idea to use cycle rather than motor bikes which can help environment and reduce carbon emission.
