The All India Muslim Minority organization Hyderabad chapter today demanded the protection of Waqf properties. Telangana Government needs to take action against land grabbers and protect Waqf properties.   The last survey was conducted in 1970. Recently another survey was conducted but not in full-fledged manner. 

Hyderabad: The All India Muslim Minority organization Hyderabad chapter today demanded the protection of Waqf properties. Telangana Government needs to take action against land grabbers and protect Waqf properties. The last survey was conducted in 1970. Recently another survey was conducted but not in full-fledged manner.

The Government must appoint a Commissioner like as the Endowment Commissioner said members. Syed Muqtar Hussain, chairman, All India Muslim Minority Organization said, “Allotment of Rs 2,500 Cr in the yearly budget to eradicate backwardness, poverty and improve education sector is the need of the hour.”

The other demands include creation of certain schemes for Muslim unemployed youth for their self sustainability and training, sanction of loans up to Rs.5.00 lakh without interest, sanction of loans of Rs.2,00,000/- without interest to the poor and middle-class minority people for development of their business, sanction of direct with 100% subsidy without involving banks.

The demand of propagation of Urdu language was also high on the agenda and the members demanded a proper building for Urdu schools, free education for girls from KG to PG, provision of IT and Poly technique colleges, support to set up small scale industries and special packages to uplift the community.
