The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) on Thursday launched its first ‘Robotics with Basic Engineering Skill Lab’ at its boys’ school in Saidabad. The students will undergo training as per the annual academic year plan with the help of this new lab.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) on Thursday launched its first ‘Robotics with Basic Engineering Skill Lab’ at its boys’ school in Saidabad. The students will undergo training as per the annual academic year plan with the help of this new lab.

Vice Chairman and President TMREIS and Advisor to Telangana State on Minorities Affairs, A K Khan inaugurated the Robotics with Basic Engineering Skill Lab. B Shafiullah, Secretary, TMREIS said that this is the first Robotic Lab in government schools in the State. These labs will help the students to understand the robotics with basic engineering skills and will guide them to choose best careers.

This lab combines all the elements related to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and robotics lab in accordance with special curriculum for skill lab courses. “The TMREI Society is going to establish these labs in all TMR schools in the coming days across Telangana State benefiting 50,000 students,” said Shafiullah.

The concept and design of these skill labs was implemented in collaboration with CATALYST, a Hyderabad based social empowerment enterprise.
