Lunch cum rest room for women staff at Rail Nilayam
A lunch cum rest room for women employees was inaugurated at CPO office, Rail Nilayam by D K Gayen, member staff, Railway Board who was in the city on Friday. He also visited the Manakosam at Rail Nilayam. Later he interacted with representatives of various Trade Unions, Associations and received representations.

He discussed several issues related to court cases, compassionate appointments, cadre planning, re-deployment of medically de-categorized staff, staff uniform issues and issues related to Modified Assured Carrier Progression etc.
He also spoke on the retired employees liberalized health scheme and instructed to simply the procedures in vogue to ease the retired employees to take treatment in the Railway hospitals/corporate hospitals.
