The students’ union leaders said that they want to hold the meeting demanding the government to restore the quota for the semi-nomadic tribes. The students’ union leaders came down heavily on the government accusing it of what they called dictatorial style of functioning. Student leaders Pandu Kuruma, Bhari Ashok Kumar, Nakka Mahesh, PG Jaipal, Poturaj Ashok, Siva, Nagaraju, MD Yadav and others took part in the protest programme.

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali,reviewed the arrangements at the Nizam’sGroundon the eve of the visit of Aga Khan for his Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, wherein he will address his jamat–members of the Shia ImamIsmaili Muslim community at the community gathering on Tuesday.
