The keynote speaker Prof E V Ramakrishnan is an acclaimed poet, novelist and translator and is presently Professor Emeritus at the Central University of Gujarat. The talk was quite enriching and outlined the theoretical context of India with reference to regional literary traditions in general and Malayalam literary traditions.
