Balanagar: A 23-year- old, Singajogi Satyaveni, solo rider made an engaging hobby out of 'designing ' helmets and fuel tanks. Five months ago, she has started designing. She wanted her life journey story to be seen on the bike that is how her first hand painted fuel tank was done.
As soon as she posted it on social media riders form various states started asking her to do the same on their fuel tanks then she took this as profession and her first design was done on her own bike (Royal Enfield classic 350), the design was all about her life journey.
Satyaveni said she has not formally learnt painting, but she loves doodling and has been doing mehndi designing for some time now. “All that experience comes in handy when painting on helmets and fuel tanks", she says.
She works on helmets during her free time. "it is easy and for me, it is a great way to relax" she said. She has design ten helmets and six fuel tanks. To design helmet, it takes three days and fuel tank seven days. The cost depends upon design, basically helmets starts from two thousand rupees and fuel tank starts from five thousand rupees.
Talking about her solo ride Satyaveni said," It's a gateway to freedom and happiness. And Royal Enfield has always been my favorite since my childhood because of its unique sound. The beat of this bike always gave me an excitement in my heart. I always wanted to feel how it would be to actually ride a Royal Enfield.
My brother has an RE Electra 350”. And for the first time to come out of career loss depression when I did ride it, my heart started beating so fast because of its power delivery and the vibe it gave to me was so brilliant that I decided that day itself that I would own one RE someday. And since then I have always been riding my brothers Electra whenever I got a chance and my mom thought RE was getting me out of depression and she surprised me with the love of my life, my RE Classic 350.
(moonbow) Spending time with my bike(moonbow) gave me time to talk to myself, travelling has become my peace producer. I wanted to spend most of the time with my bike which inspired me to work on it.
Our upcoming project is about 3D designs, I have been experimenting on it since very long time, Satyaveni said.
