The amenities help people feel cheerful. They make people lead an active life all through the day.

In the absence of public parks, the people are steeped in stressful lives. Development of parks in the town took a back seat for want of funds and suitable places. The World Bank has come forward to develop parks in the two towns.

A three-member committee from CDM office, Hyderabad has inspected various sites in Tandur and Vikarabad to develop parks. In Vikarabad, there are 117 vacant sites and eight parks. Officials have plans to develop 20 parks in Vikarabad.

In Tandur, there are 30 vacant sites. Plans are being drawn to develop nine parks in them. Vikarabad has a population of 55000, while Tandur has 65000 population.
Green grass, play equipment and children’s play equipment will be provided in the proposed parks in the two towns.

Besides, walking tracks will be provided.Popular as the Ooty of Telangana, the towns of Vikarabad and Tandur will certainly attract more tourists.
