Employees of Topaz company in Jeedimetla have reported a cheating case on a fellow worker Ram Babu who influenced them to consolidate money as chits and has reportedly fled from the city after having bought several properties with their hard earned money.Â
Qutubullapur: Employees of Topaz company in Jeedimetla have reported a cheating case on a fellow worker Ram Babu who influenced them to consolidate money as chits and has reportedly fled from the city after having bought several properties with their hard earned money.
Hailing from Mangalagiri, Ram Babu is said to have taken 10, 000 rupees from each employee with a promise to return huge amounts to them on maturing and has recently stopped responding to his customers.
K V Rao, a victim of the scam grieved that Ram Babu's scandal has led to his parent's death and has economically drained his family of bare necessities. He added that the fraudster cheated nearly 500 people looting up to 5 crore rupees from them. The victims urged police personnel to take stringent actions against Ram Babu.
